Creative sector is a true heavyweight!
An article by Emily Pacey for ‘Design Week Magazine’ last month examined the new Nesta report findings that the creative field has been drastically undervalued. The creative sector now matches the financial sector at 7% of annual GDP and this highlights the true economic might of this industry.
Emily writes that, “Of all the creative occupations (the report) identifies, design has most people (54%) working in non-creative companies.” “…so, just as a retailer has a financial director, a car manufacturer employs in-house designers.” This recognition is hugely important as it shows just how integral a design team is to the success of today’s businesses.
Although it is fair to say that this is the case concerning larger organisations, many smaller businesses are often unable to afford the costs of an ‘in-house’ designer, and that is where utilising a creative agency proves invaluable. Using the expert services of an agency such as Remarkable enables a company to benefit from years of design experience whilst only paying for each project as and when they are required.
The client has access to a wealth of knowledge and innovative designs on demand, without the hassle and expense of a full time employee. Thousands of businesses are now making use of the creative sector, enabling them to improve customer awareness and increase sales, with substantial results. Isn’t it time you did the same?
